Alchemi has designed and published a custom Restaurant Guide for the community of Harford County, Maryland that lists restaurants in the area and identifies the types of food they serve, their location and contact information to help visitors get around. Complete with a creative set of icons to indicate the variety of cuisine and other services about each restaurant, the Restaurant Guide displays a fun and appetizing approach to attract the attention of the tourists and locals alike. We are so excited that our colleagues like our work and we are thankful for such positive recognition with this wonderful award from the Maryland Office Of Tourism.

Print & Digital Bridal Show Marketing Campaign
This year for the Chesapeake Beach Resort & Spa’s annual Bridal Show, Alchemi designed an elegantly whimsy look for the highly anticipated event. A bright and nautical color selection of glowing coral, deep sea blue and soft sandy beige complimented the waterfront location and enhanced the romantic atmosphere. We have been busy in the new year with creating a unique marketing campaign for one of our favorite dentists, Dr. Scott Finlay. We have been writing about his latest techniques in the market since he is a pioneer and leader in cosmetic dentistry. Alchemi created a fresh branding campaign for Dr. Finlay including email marketing. This was a large undertaking since we needed to start from stratch and compile emails for different lists that not only Finlay’s office had but other businesses. Once we compiled and cleaned his lists we set out to create a new cutting edge look that was consistent with Finlay’s business goals. We feel we have achieved the overall look and first marketing projects including print and online advertising, email and public relations and look forward to progressing with this brand. Spring is the perfect season for wedding shows and networking events to draw prospective clients to visit your location for future business. Everyone is happy to get out after a long cold winter (like this one was!) and seeing is definitely believing when the venue puts its best foot forward to show off how they look and work during an event. The key to a successful event is attendance, both for the venue and any vendor participating. To maximize the attendance takes a comprehensive and timely marketing effort with a variety of targeted media engaged in getting the message out. No, social media alone is not yet the only way to get the word of an event out but it is definitely a part of it. A multi-media approach is best at any budget level including print, social media, radio, TV, signage and public relations. Hiring someone experienced and knowledgeable to come up with the plan and execute it is best, but if you insist on a DIY approach investing in a targeted marketing plan first is key. Marketing events can be accomplished whether you are working with a large or small budget as long as you can get the most effective results by doing the right things.
