Facebook Analytics is Going Away. So Now What?
After June 30, 2021, Facebook Analytics will be going away. So what does this mean for you, and how can you continue gathering data from Facebook?
Facebook’s new tool, Business Suite, puts all of your Facebook and Instagram business accounts in one place. The Business Suite provides you with insights about your audience, content and trends so you can continue to monitor how your posts are performing. In their announcement of Facebook Analytics’ departure, Facebook notes that Business Suite may not be available to all users at this time.
To find your analytics data in Business Suite, go to business.facebook.com while being logged into your account that’s connected to your business page(s). Select the page you want to manage from the dropdown at the top of the page, then navigate to the sidebar on the left and click on Insights.
While you can see your ads and boosted posts in Business Suite, you can also monitor, make changes and see results for all of your Facebook Campaigns, ad sets and ads in Facebook’s Ad Manager.
Lastly, Facebook’s Events Manager can help you set up and manage Facebook Business Tools including Facebook Pixel and the Conversions API, reports actions taken on your website, in your app, and in your physical store if you have one.
Events Manager and Ads Manager can also be accessed through Business Suite by navigating to More Tools in the left sidebar in Business Suite.
Remember to download any data you need from Facebook Analytics before June 30 by exporting your data into a CSV file on desktop Facebook.
