Chesapeake Beach Resort & Spa
Chesapeake Beach Resort & Spa was an ongoing client for over eight years with marketing, design, communications, public relations and strategy. Chesapeake Beach Resort & Spa (CBRS) is a multi-faceted property that required a significant amount of planning and production of marketing materials to promote upcoming events and concerts, three restaurants, two marinas, hotel, spa and event space.
We implemented a marketing strategy starting with meeting all 21 managers throughout the Resort and compiling a research analysis of current marketing practices to future goals.
Our work included event campaign marketing, advertisement planning and placement, press releases, email design/development and marketing management. We managed all marketing campaigns (over 80 campaigns per year), advertising contract negotiations, email marketing, website updates, copywriting, public relations, and online announcements and listings. We scheduled and managed their weekly email campaign calendar, created new email brands and tracked traffic and viewer interactions.
Focusing on the events ticket sales, business boomed with attendances of over 500 guests for large events. With our founding of their first wedding shows, the Resort expanded their wedding services from one event space to three to include the growing business and gaining a significant increase in special event bookings.
